Buyer FAQ
Questions buyers ask before starting a private label cosmetic order.
Use this page to prepare your RFQ. Exact MOQ, timeline and documents depend on formula, packaging, testing, decoration and destination market.
What is the typical MOQ?
MOQ depends on formula type, packaging component and decoration method. Stock packaging and ready formulas usually support lower starting quantities than fully custom formulas or custom-mold components. See the cosmetics MOQ guide for the main factors.
Can you develop a custom formula?
Yes. Custom development starts with target product type, benchmark, ingredient direction, texture, fragrance, claims and destination market requirements.
Do you support packaging and carton design?
Packaging sourcing, component selection, decoration method and carton structure can be planned together with the formula. You can provide finished artwork or request artwork dimensions and dielines.
How long do samples take?
Ready-base samples often move faster. Semi-custom and custom formulas commonly require 2-4 weeks for initial samples, with additional time for adjustments, compatibility checks and packaging proofs.
What documents can be provided?
Common documents include INCI list, product specification, COA, MSDS, artwork dimensions, batch inspection materials and export packing information depending on order scope.
Can products be shipped internationally?
Export packing and document support can be coordinated. Buyers should confirm import rules, product registration and claim requirements in their destination market.
